Membership Agreement, Studio Guidelines & Liability Waiver
Version 1
Welcome to Dealt Social! By ticking the box below, you agree to the guidelines and policies that keep our community safe, fair, and fun for everyone.
1. Community & Code of Conduct
• Treat everyone with respect and help foster a welcoming, inclusive environment
• Include others during open play; avoid exclusionary behavior or gossip about members or the studio
• Bring any concerns directly to Dealt Social staff, not other players
• Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times
2. Studio Environment
The studio can get lively during busy sessions — please be mindful of noise and considerate of others, and choose seating that's comfortable for you. We're continually improving acoustics and layout as we grow.
3. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Participation is voluntary and you assume all risks of participating, including slips, trips, falls, or other minor injuries from moving around tables, chairs, and equipment. Dealt Social and its staff are not liable for injury, loss, or property damage occurring during studio activities.
4. Alcohol Policy
Beer and wine are sold on-site to guests of legal drinking age; outside alcohol is not permitted (no BYOB). Valid ID is required, and service will be refused to anyone who cannot provide it or appears impaired. Members are responsible for their own conduct and consumption, agree not to drive under the influence, and understand Dealt Social is not liable for incidents related to alcohol use.
5. No Gambling Policy
Gambling is prohibited on the premises. Play at all sessions is for recreational purposes only — no wagering cash, chips, or items of value on game outcomes.
6. Photo Release
You give Dealt Social permission to use photos taken during events and play for marketing, website, and social media purposes. You may opt out of this photo release by sending an email to dealtsocial@gmail.com.
